Pricing Changes
Introducing usage-based pricing that scales with your needs.
Right now, XD's Cloud uses fixed subscription tiers, which means you're locked into a plan regardless of whether you're actively using it. If you're only running a couple of small servers, you might be overpaying. If you suddenly need more resources, you might hit the plan ceiling.
That doesn't feel right to me. So we're making a change.
Starting in the coming months, XD's Cloud will move to a usage-based pricing model. Instead of paying for a fixed tier, you'll pay based on what you actually use compute time, storage, bandwidth, and active servers. This means you only pay for what you need, when you need it.
The benefits are clear: run as many servers as you want without tier restrictions, scale up and down based on demand, and stop paying for unused capacity. Users who rarely use their servers will see costs drop significantly, while power users gain flexibility to expand without hitting artificial limits.
We're still finalizing the pricing details, but this shift puts you in control of your costs. No surprises, no overpaying for unused capacity.
More details coming soon. In the meantime, if you have questions about how this will affect your account, reach out at contact@xdpxi.dev.
